I first met Shelby when her mom contacted me to see if I was available during their travels to Hawaii while checking out colleges. Shelby really wants to go to the University of Hawaii and was looking forward to some Hawaiian style senior photos!

Well, we had SO much fun a couple of weeks ago at the senior portrait shootout. I put out a model call for seniors graduating with the class of 2014 and we ended up with 7 FANTABULOUS models! They each are so unique and have such different looks that it made the two hours of shooting time we had WAY too short!

Class of 2014 Senior Portrait Photography

One of the things I love most about being a senior portrait photographer is watching the girls undergo a metamorphosis during the shoot. Almost every senior starts out nervous to some degree. It takes a bit to get comfortable in front of the camera and with each other. It is amazing to watch all of the outside worries and insecurities of being a teenager fall away during the session and be a witness to the incredible transformation that occurs. It is almost as if they put on a cloak of confidence at some point during the shoot. Anyhoo, it is fun to see!!
