Congratulations to Kanoe, Class of 2013!

Once again, I am so honored to have been chosen to document this amazing time in this lovely young lady’s life. I love being a senior portrait photographer! We got to do a whole bunch of fun stuff here. She really wanted an urban shoot, so we combined a downtown urban shoot with a softer green shoot to give the most in backdrop possibilities. She ended up with an amazing gallery that will really speak to this time in her life!

This is the first shoot, which was the urban shoot. We shot all of these just by walking around downtown, Honolulu. I’ll post her green stuff separately.

Senior year is such a hallmark time and full of such amazing things that are happening in the lives of those who are on the cusp of adulthood and leaving the nest. One of the reasons why I love senior portrait photography so much is that I am so, so excited for the things that these young people have to look forward to in their upcoming years! And, you can sense their own excitement in the photos. They absolutely own that moment in time. I love it!
