I am just delighted that I met Melanie through this process. This is just one of the most down-to-earth and in love couples I have ever met. The entire session felt just like we were friends. I spent most of the time laughing and giggling at how absolutely adorable they were with each other. Not to mention, they are incredibly gorgeous!

We seriously had the best time with this maternity session! We caught a few rain showers and just rolled with them and we also caught some crazy weather phenomenon. The low clouds and pressure system created an amazing background at one of my very favorite spots on earth.:)Can you believe this is one of the only photos they have of them together with him in uniform!

One of my favorite family sessions. Ever. They were just so much fun!!! This family adores each other and I just had the most fabulous time “tagging along” with them. We chose to do the shoot here in Kailua on MCBH and they couldn’t have had a more perfect day — lots of sunshine and not too much wind! Believe it or not, it is actually rather difficult sometimes doing beach portraits here on a tropical island. Let’s just say that the wind is not my friend.:)

I first talked to Kelli when she contacted me about her husband’s homecoming. We were ready to go and then for reasons out of our control, I wasn’t able to come and capture that special moment when she and her son first saw her husband after a six month deployment.
