I had the amazing privilege of photographing this beautiful young lady the other day. There is something about photographing seniors that is magical. Perhaps it is knowing that all of life’s opportunities and adventures lay at their feet. I feel such excitement for them and what I know their future holds.
I know it is hard to believe (giggle), but my 20th reunion was just this past year. Amazing what happens in that timeframe. I remember listening to my mom (and rolling my eyes) say things like “If only I knew then what I know now…” and other ubiquitous quotes. Wow. I hear myself saying all of those same things and echoes of the past.
Now my own kiddos are growing and I wish there was a way for me to stop time and bottle this up. Enjoy your moments and take time to capture them! I feel so privileged to have a job that allows me to do just that. 😉
