Many photographers have asked how I’ve shot this series of this gorgeous girl in the hat.
So, here’s a few of my favorite go-to poses for hats.

I positioned Katy with her back to the sun and positioned a reflector underneath her to create the dramatic catchlights and give it a “beauty shot” feel, as well as minimize the strong shadows that can be created by wearing a hat in full sun.
